Construction supervision

Clients trust us to plan and control the works, alongside the contractor they have already appointed.

What it involves

The supervisor represents the client before the contractor: verifying that what is built matches what was designed and what is being paid for. It does not run the site — that is the contractor's job — but it does decide whether an item is acceptable.

When it fits

When the client has a contractor but no in-house technical team to control them, or needs an independent third party to validate what is being paid.

Progress control

Checking what the programme claims against what is actually on site, and flagging drift while it can still be corrected rather than once it is a fact.

Quality control

Verifying materials, testing and workmanship against the specification. An item wrongly approved gets paid for twice: once to build it, once to rebuild it.

Cost control

Reviewing valuations and change orders before they are paid. This is where projects overrun without anyone noticing until the end.

With the contractor, not against them

We work alongside the contractor the client appointed. Useful supervision is not the kind that hunts for faults, but the kind that settles a problem before it becomes one.

Plan Build Check Correct
Control works if the loop closes quickly. Checking at month end turns a cheap correction into a demolition.
