Infrastructure

We build infrastructure with the best engineers in Guayaquil, and bring in outside specialists when the project demands it.

What it involves

Work that is not building: earthworks, roads, pavements, hardstandings and networks. It is measured differently from a building — by volume, area and bearing capacity — and controlled by testing, not by eye.

When it fits

When the work is a development, a road or a hardstanding, or when a building project carries an infrastructure component that needs its own judgement.

Earthworks and grading

Cut, fill and compaction to design levels. The most underestimated item on any bill, and the most expensive to correct later.

Pavements and hardstandings

Granular base, asphalt and compaction. The El Fortín container yard is work of this kind: a large surface sized for heavy traffic and container handling.

Roads and networks

Internal road layout and water and drainage networks in residential developments — what turns plotted land into serviced land.

Specialists when the project calls for them

We work with the best engineers in Guayaquil and, where the project demands it, bring in specialists from outside. We prefer that to approximating a problem outside our strength.

A pavement is not the layer you see. What carries heavy traffic sits underneath, and that is where durability is won or lost.
